Last CDS newsletter of 2010
With the end of the semester, the CDS Newsletter is going on hiatus for the
holidays and will restart next January. For those of you who want to get
started early on a New Year’s resolution to not miss any great seminars next
semester, we list some talks below that we expect to be particularly
interesting. Hope you have a great holiday and a happy and healthy New
Year.
The Decision
Making and Negotiations (DNA) Cross-Disciplinary Area at Columbia Business
School will be hosting a series of lectures by prominent
decision researchers. Locations and talk titles are still to
be determined:
Columbia’s
Sociology Department is hosting a lecture series entitled “Economic Sociologists Meet the 21st Century” linked
to a set of graduate seminars (the talks are open to the public and the
seminars are open to all graduate students on a space-available basis;
