Errors In Decision-Making Just Slow Us Down: Why We Don’t Always Learn From Our Mistakes
The article discusses research done at NYU on learning from past decision-making mistakes. Their results showed that both humans and monkeys slowed their thinking process significantly after a mistake in order to increase accuracy. However, the slowing down in thought did not lead to reduced error.
