When the Price Just Feels Right: Do Rounded Numbers Appeal to Our Emotions?
A new study published in Journal of Consumer Research suggests that when a price is a round number, consumers are more likely to buy the product when their decision is driven by feelings. However, when a price is not round, consumers are more likely to buy the same product when their decision is driven by reason.
