How to Avoid Business Disasters with Behavioral Science
In the wake of several recent, high profile corporate scandals (Cambridge Analytica/Facebook, Equifax, United), many business executives may be wondering what they can do to prevent mistakes from turning into public incidents. This article discusses various behavioral science applications that businesspeople can use to further this goal. In particular, the article lays out the process for conducting a "premortem," allowing staff and executives to evaluate potential problems before they metastasize and become disasters.
